NEET-UG 2024 BJP and RJD clash over alleged connections with key suspect Sikandar Yadavedu, with BJP demanding Tejashwi Yadav to provide clarification
As protests against the NEET exams intensify nationwide due to allegations of leaked question papers and biased markings, a heated political controversy has erupted in Bihar.
The accusations made by those involved have ignited a conflict between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is part of the ruling coalition led by the Janata Dal (United), and the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
Central to this conflict is the alleged association of each political faction with the accused, especially Sikandar Yadavendu, whom authorities suspect to be the mastermind behind the NEET question paper leak.
Patna police received a tip-off about the suspected paper leak a few hours before the exam on May 4. Over a dozen people were arrested, including Anurag Yadav, a NEET candidate, his uncle Sikandar Yadavendu, Nitish Kumar, and Amit Anand.
