Rupauli By-election: Voting Today, 11 Candidates in the Fray

Voting for the Rupauli Assembly by-election, the only seat in Bihar, will take place on Wednesday. The voting process will begin at 7 AM amidst tight security. Over three lakh voters will decide the fate of the 11 candidates in the fray. This will bring the month-long election process to its final stage, with results awaited on July 13.

District Election Officer and District Magistrate Kundan Kumar has assured a fear-free environment for free and fair voting. He stated that the district administration has made stringent security arrangements for the polling on Wednesday. Adequate security forces have been deployed at all booths in the Rupauli constituency. The District Magistrate also mentioned that sufficient police and paramilitary forces are available to ensure a smooth election process
