Uttar Pradesh: Speeding bus rams milk tanker in Unnao, killing 18
In a tragic incident early Wednesday morning, at least 18 people lost their lives and 19 others sustained injuries when a double-decker bus collided with a milk tanker on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh.
As quoted by India Today, Unnao District Magistrate Gaurang Rathi, the bus was en route from Motihari in Bihar to Delhi when it rammed into the milk tanker from behind near Garha village. The impact was so severe that the bus was pulverized, flinging passengers out of the vehicle.
Emergency services rushed to the scene to provide aid to the injured and manage the aftermath of the devastating crash.
